I’ve just finished reading Jennifer McMahon’s The Winter People. It’s not the kind of book I normally read (Pet Sematary scared me so badly I had to give the book away after reading it. I couldn’t sleep while it was in the house. I’ve stayed away from horror fantasy ever since). The Winter People is the January recommendation on the PopSugar reading challenge and I’m glad I read it.
I’m listening to The Big Questions of Philosophy by Professor David Kyle Johnson on Audible but will take a break when the next Tim Ferriss podcast shows up.
I’ve finished the first draft of Betel Red and am putting it aside for a while to look through the ideas I’ve been collecting for Aunty Lee’s next outing.
Oh, and as a Christmas treat to myself, I signed up for the James Patterson Masterclass on Writing! (Huge fun so far. Will wait and see whether it helps my writing…)
